Coco Point Lodge is right on the southernmost tip of Barbuda, and is a totally private 164 acre property right on the peninsula and is surrounded by white sand beaches backed by a turquoise-blue sea you can’t begin to do justice to in print.

There are thirty six bungalow and cottage style rooms, and all of them are right on the beach. This means you can just walk out of your room, and within a few paces you have walked over the pink white sand beach and are in that beautiful azure sea you have looked at as you flew into the private airstrip for Coco Point Lodge. The sea quite obviously is the focus of activity with snorkelling, swimming and deep sea fishing all excellent. The snorkelling off the untouched reef on the opposite side of the peninsula.
The rooms are large and tastefully decorated, as are the bathrooms, but no airconditioning because the way they are built allows the cooling breezes to make sure you don’t ever feel too hot.
Surprisingly for such a private property, where you would expect it could be child free it actually welcomes children, and of course they are almost without exception of the really well behaved variety.
All Inclusive Caribbean resorts all too often means local drinks only but here at Coco Point Lodge you will drink the best wines, and good quality brands. One of the highlights of the day is the daily cocktail hour where you will be amongst 30 – 40 other guests, and marvel at where they have all appeared from, so quiet are your surroundings during the day. This gives you the chance of getting to know people from many different parts of the world, and indeed such is the atmosphere created by the resort, you quickly will feel part of a family, and not really a guest in a resort.
